Accountant – Trucking & Logistics Company (Immediate Joiners)

Job Description:
A well-established trucking and logistics company in Dammam is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and preferably experience in the transportation or logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Track and reconcile bank transactions, cash flow, and petty cash.
Manage payroll processing in compliance with Saudi labor and tax regulations.
Prepare VAT returns and manage ZATCA-related requirements.
Monitor fuel, maintenance, and operational expenses for fleet cost control.
Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (preferably in trucking/logistics).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, VAT regulations, and ZATCA requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills preferred.
